Boots n
Bikinis.
Country comes to the pool. DJ Lucky Lou spins a country-EDM crossover all day, big country anthems get sung live over the water, cowgirl dancers take the stage — and yes, there's a mechanical bull.
A honky-tonk with five pools.
The whole deck goes country for one Sunday — DJ Lucky Lou blending country into EDM drops, a live singer belting the anthems everyone knows, cowgirl dancers on stage, cowboy hats behind every bar, and a mechanical bull parked in the middle of it all. Boots optional. Bikinis encouraged. Both ideal.
Sunday goes full country.
Ride the bull
The mechanical bull runs all day — sign the waiver, hold on tight, and let your friends film the dismount.
Country x EDM sets
Lucky Lou's crossover set swings from stadium country singalongs to festival drops without missing a beat.
Live anthems
A live country singer pops in through the day to lead the deck through the big ones — loud, together, off-key welcome.
The full theme
Cowgirl dancers on stage and cowboy hats across the whole staff — the theme runs through every corner of the venue.
Close out August country style.
The last Sunday of the summer's biggest month deserves a send-off. General admission gets you the full day; cabanas and daybeds put your crew front-row for the bull, the stage, and the singalongs.
Everything you'd ask.
When is Boots n Bikinis?
Sunday, August 30, 2026 at Tailgate Beach Club, Mandalay Bay. Doors open at 11 AM and the party runs to 5 PM.
Can I really ride the mechanical bull?
Yes — the bull runs throughout the day. Rides require a signed waiver and are subject to the operator's safety requirements. Liquid courage is not a substitute for grip strength.
Who's performing?
DJ Lucky Lou headlines with a country-EDM crossover set, a live country singer performs the big anthems through the day, and cowgirl dancers take the stage.
Is there a dress code?
Standard pool attire — with a strong recommendation for anything country. Hats, boots (until you hit the water), fringe, denim: bring the theme.
Is the event 21+?
