On Saturday night, Tailgate Beach Club officially threw open the gates at Mandalay Bay with a grand opening party headlined by a live performance from Snoop Dogg — and a guest list that played like a crossover episode between the NFL, the X Games and Love Island USA. The Night Tailgate Officially Arrived
Soft opening was May 1. Grand opening was always going to be the moment. And Saturday delivered.
Located directly across from Allegiant Stadium on the south end of the Strip, Tailgate Beach Club is Las Vegas' new sports and pop culture dayclub — 50,000 square feet built around the idea that game day, fight night and finale night all belong on the same pool deck. Saturday was the city's first real look at what that actually means.
Snoop Dogg Headlines the Main Pool Deck
When Snoop hit the stage, the entire venue lit up. The full 125+ feet of LED screen synced to the set. Two thousand people packed the pool deck. And somewhere between the first verse and the encore, Tailgate stopped being a new venue and started being the venue.
A few moments that stood out:
- The crowd. Just the crowd. Capacity by 6pm. Cabanas booked solid. The kind of energy you usually only get for a championship game.
- The LED wall as a co-star. Every track, every drop, the screens reacted. The stadium-meets-dayclub thing isn't a tagline — it's the show.

In one of the day's most-photographed moments, Tailgate hosted surprise birthday celebrations for Tony Hawk and Claire Kittle — who, as it turns out, share the same birthday. Both got cakes onsite. Both got the LED wall treatment. Both got a crowd of 2,000 singing along.
