Players locked in free spots online: name, email, phone, and signed eligibility affidavit. First-come, first-locked.
Registered players confirmed their bracket spots between 1 and 2 PM on July 16 and grabbed a controller.
Tip-off came around 2 PM. Bracket-style matchups on NBA 2K26, played on PS5.
The Final played out on the main screen with $2,000 cash on the line. Winner take all.

It was win or go home. Every matchup ran bracket-style on NBA 2K26 (PS5), from the opening round to the Finals. We supplied the consoles and controllers, the players supplied the handles, and the $2,000 rode on every game.

When was the Courtside Clash?
Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Tailgate Beach Club, Mandalay Bay. Doors opened at 11 AM, check-in for registered players ran 1 to 2 PM, and the tournament tipped off around 2 PM.
What was the format?
A single-elimination bracket tournament on NBA 2K26, played on PS5. Win and advance, lose and you were out.
What was the entry fee?
Free. Spots were first-come, first-locked through online registration.
What was the grand prize?
$2,000 in cash, winner take all. Prizes were awarded on-site after completion of an eligibility affidavit, liability release, and publicity release. Management reserves all rights.
Why did players sign an affidavit?
Standard procedure for prize giveaways of this value. The affidavit confirmed that a player was 21 or older, eligible to receive the prize, and had provided accurate information, with the full document signed on-site before any prize was awarded.
Did players bring their own controllers?
No. We provided PS5 consoles and controllers for every match.
What happened if a player missed check-in?
Check-in closed at 2 PM sharp. Players who missed the window could forfeit their bracket spot.
Is the event 21+?
Yes. Tailgate Beach Club is a 21+ venue. Valid government-issued ID required for entry and for prize eligibility.
Where is Tailgate Beach Club?
Mandalay Bay, 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, south end of the Strip. Self-parking and rideshare drop-off on-site.
